Cookie Dough

Our Cookie Dough is unique because we harness the power of wild yeast in our sourdough to give you a soft chewy cookie that is sure to please everyone whether to impress a dinner party or just throw in the oven on a cozy day. Every occasion calls for these one of a kind cookies. They're frozen because they cook best frozen. They hold a tall structure which is what gives the cookie its gooey inside.


Instructions: To bake these delicious creations start by pre-heating your oven to 350F. There a 6 logs of cookie dough in each pack you can cut them into twos or threes depending on the size of the cookie you want. Then lightly grease a pan, the pan size depends on how many you want to bake at once, there should always be 1.5-2 inches between each cookie. Every oven is different and this means bake times vary. In the average oven it should be a 15-18 minute bake time at Organically Lou when we bake these we usually turn the pan so the opposite side is facing us about half way through baking which is about the 8-9 minute mark. Then around 16 minutes we keep an eye on them making sure they have a golden brown ring around them and that the middle of the cookie just starts to get firm. That's when you know they're ready, you don't want to over bake these cookies because then they lose that chewy charm.  Remove from oven and then let stand for 5-10 minutes before moving to a cooling rack. Let stand on rack for another 5-10 minutes and then dig into a delicious gut healthy treat. From Lou to You.
